Wow you guys, so much has happened to me in the past month. I had my first gallery show, I graduated, and I turned 24! Awesome!
So far on the Fandom Rocks! series, I have completed four paintings:
1) David Tennant as the 10th Doctor
2) Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister
2) Cosplayer Harley's Joker as, you know, the Joker
4) Tim Curry as Dr. Frank-n-Furter
For the first time while doing a series, I am not looking forward to ending this one. Every time I turn around I have a different idea for a new icon to paint! So, this series won't be ending any time soon.
For my next painting, I will be depicting Sigourney Weaver as Ripley from the Aliens series. I'm doing this A) because this series needs more women! and B) for the New York LGBTQ group Geeks Out upcoming show, Dreamweaver. I'm really excited about the idea of my work being shown in New York City, so wish me luck! You can read more about Geeks Out and Dreamweaver at
[link]After that, the plan is to start my Lt. Commander Data piece, and from there, who knows? A local literacy group is contemplating hiring me to paint an author. They might even let me choose who! I'll let you know!
The last thing is that I have started running a weekly competition on my facebook page called Free Stuff Friday. Every Friday night at 7 I post a new question. First to answer wins a free sketch! Check it out!
Alright, that's all the news for now. I really want to give a big thank you to all of the new watchers I've been getting lately. Catch you later!
